It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey, reading your blog and thinking about how we're not having summer right now!! There are 4 feet of snow around our house in most places and the snowdrifts are up to 7 feet high. Can you imagine that?
I think you've made an excellent case for tourists coming to New Zealand in the summer and visiting Rotorua, Lake Taupo and touring to hike. Well done!! That's exactly what I would recommend too! I've visited Mount Cook and I've hiked around Dunedin - just beautiful and wild. And the adventure of ziplining or skydiving would appeal to lots of people, wouldn't it?
I hope you've had a lot of fun this summer and I hope your new school year is off to a great start!!
